The origin of Bhagirathi (Ganga) River is at Gaumukh glacier which is at a distance of 18kms from Gangotri and one must cover the distance on foot. Gangotri offers scenic vistas of rugged terrains, gushing water of Bhagirathi River and snow clad peaks. The place holds great importance amongst Hindus. Gangotri remains opened from May and gets closed on the occasion of Diwali festival. Gangotri temple remains closed during winters as the region is prone to heavy snowfall.

Gangotri Dham Yatra Tour Package – (3 Days by Taxi/ 4 Days by Bus)

Day 1 : Haridwar to Uttarkashi . On arrival check in at the hotel for overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 2 : Early morning drive to Gangotri and on arrival take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges, also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja after that and relax for some time in the lovely surroundings, afternoon drive to Uttarkashi, on arrival check into the Hotel.

Day 3 : After a Very early breakfast, leave for Guptakashi/Sitapur, and Drive to Rishikesh, en-route visit Rishikesh Local Sight Seeing (Ram Jhulla, Laxman Jhulla, Triveni Ghat, Parmarth Niketan, Shivananda Ashram & Gita Kutir). in the evening transfer to Hotel.
